Fruited Rice (submitted by Ann Bouwhuis)Ingredients:
1 box instant brown rice
1 can fruit cocktail, with the juice
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
2½ cups water
Bring water to a boil in a large saucepan. Add rice and allow to simmer for two minutes. The, add applesauce and fruit cocktail. Simmer until the liquid is absorbed.
